Article indexing helps to facilitate Google search and improve search results.

To do this, you need to enable SEO in Movidesk and register with Google Search Console to perform page indexing.

In this article, you will see:

How to enable SEO for articles in Movidesk

In Movidesk, go to Settings > Knowledge Base > Article Settings and enable the option “Allow search engines to index public articles”.

After saving, you should proceed to the next step to integrate with Google Search Console.

How to integrate with Google Search Console

First, register with Google Search Console. You should use the same account you use for Google Analytics, if you have one.

Enter your domain so Google can automatically index your pages.

Google does not always capture all variants of your site, so it may be necessary to do some manually.

In this scenario, you should check if the page is indexed by copying its link and pasting it into the Google Search Console search field.

This will show whether your page is indexed or not.

If it is, it will show that the URL is in Google.

Otherwise, it will show that the URL is not in Google, and you will be able to request indexing.

You can also add an HTML tag to your knowledge base to ensure site verification.

To do this, in Google Search Console, go to Settings > Property Verification > HTML Tag and copy the available meta tag.

Now, paste this tag into your knowledge base code.

To do this, in Movidesk, go to Settings > Knowledge Base > Help center and paste it into the “Between the <head></head> tags of the document” field.

Important: indexing can take some time and is not instantaneous.
