Movidesk provides an important communication channel with customers, which is chat support. Through it, you can establish an online channel for your customers to chat with your team.

In this article, you will learn what chat support is in Movidesk.

What is the chat?

Chat support is an online communication tool that directly connects your team with customers. Although the chat is embedded in your website or software, it is fully integrated with Movidesk. You can use it in three ways:

  1. Conversation and Request Management:
    Manage conversations, support requests, and track inquiries directly in Movidesk, without the need for additional tools. Conversations are automatically converted into tickets in the system.

  2. Availability in Movidesk:
    The chat can be made available to customers accessing Movidesk, allowing them to start conversations with your support team.

  3. Interaction via Existing Tickets (optional):
    The chat can be used to discuss existing tickets. The customer can contact the responsible agent, or the agent can initiate a conversation with the customer. These interactions are logged as ticket actions. This feature is optional and can be disabled by the system administrator.
